Capturing life energy in sculptural resin.

The work originates from a contemporary dance performance built

around the idea that every encounter leaves a trace.



Each dancer enters the space carrying their own colour, a

representation of their individual energy, identity, and presence. As

the movement unfolds and bodies come into contact, these colours

are exchanged, layered, and transformed. Through connection,

something new emerges.

The dancers no longer remain separate entities. Their gestures,

movements, and energies merge into a collective expression, a new

composition of colours born through encounter.




Through photography, Rebekka captures these moments of

transformation. Bodies dissolve into one another, moving beyond

individual identity and taking on new sculptural forms. They become

organic presences, reminiscent of rare tropical flowers preserved in

resin.



The photographs are subsequently reworked and hand-painted,

translating the invisible traces of interaction into tangible form.

The fragile photographic surface is then immersed in layers of resin,

preserving the photograph, the performance, an act of capturing

emotion.




Through this process, the artist seeks to hold the energy of human

connection beyond its ephemeral existence.

They situate themselves in a space where body and nature

converge.

The work unfolds within the tension between presence and absence,

between individuality and unity, between movement and stillness.
